Why Join our Family?
{slider Respect} AtTimeLineyou are not just another driver, you are a respected member of our professional customer service team. Being the front line of Customer Service, you can be assured of the appreciation that you deserve. {slider Values} AtTimeLineLogistic your values are our values. They include healthy living, balance between work time and home time, fair and consistent compensation for a job well done, and clean, safe and comfortable facilities to help you wind down at the end of a long trip. {slider Communication, Communication, Communication} AtTimeLineyou can rest assured that your voice will be heard. There is a direct correlation between Operations and Safety; we all listen and communicate to our valued team members. We don’t have a one-size-fits-all philosophy; everyone is different and has various preferences, likes and dislikes. We embrace and encourage these differences, and we strive to ensure everyone has their say in how things are run. {slider Balance} It can be tough to find a balance between work life and home life, and in no industry is this more true than in long-haul transport. Being on the road for weeks at a time can cause all sorts of stress that will inevitably put strains on family life. AtTimeLinewe know this, and we make every effort to achieve a balance to minimize the stresses of being away from your family for extended periods of time. We work hard to make sure when you are on the road, you are making money, and when it’s time to go home, we get you home. Should the need arise, we also can provide counseling services for any member of theTimeLinefamily. All you need to do is ask. {slider Facilities} Our terminal is fully-fenced and secure, so you know that when you park your vehicle in our yard, it is still here when you arrive home from your trip. We ensure that all tractors and trailers are clean every time you leave our facility. We provide free laundry facilities and showers that are continuously kept clean. Our driver/kitchen area is comfortable with a full-service fridge, stove, microwave, and a big screen TV with satellite input and Wi-Fi capability. {slider Technology} AtTimeLinewe believe when you arrive home from a long trip, your time is better spent with your family then sitting at the facility doing paperwork. We are embracing technology to the fullest. When you work for us, you don’t have a log book to do and you don’t have trip sheets to do. All our equipment is satellite tracked. We utilize the Electronic Log Books and all the fuel tax is done for you by the system. When you return from your trip, all you need to do is go home and enjoy time with your family.
Most of our satellite systems have Wi-Fi capabilities, so if you are in a W-Fi hotspot you can surf the internet from the cab of your truck. With our online training you can also meet your training requirements during your down time while on the road. We provide all our Driver Members with in-cab email capabilities so you are never far from home. You can communicate with your family right from the cab of your truck through the satellite system to and from anywhere in North America through this secure service.
In the end – we are continually looking for ways that we can implement technology to improve our business and provide our Driver Members with a more balanced work and home life.
All of our trucks are equipped with PrePass, which will allow you to bypass most scales, and will automatically pay for any tolls when you are in any of the member states. {slider Training} AtTimeLinewe know that it is challenging to remember information not used on a regular basis, so continuous on-line training through our website, and in most instances your satellite system, is provided for your convenience. This training includes safe driving habits, log books, healthy living, and compliance training just to name a few, with many more being added monthly. If there is something you would to see added, all you need to do is talk the Operations or Safety Department and they will work to include it. {slider Productivity} We know that while you are on the road you expect a day’s pay for a day’s work. That is why our Operations department works hard to ensure you are receiving the miles you expect and that down time is kept to a minimum. Any compensation for down time or extra work is always communicated to you while it happens, so you know that you are taken care of and there are no surprises come payday. {slider Compensation} We have a very generous compensation package that includes a better-than-average base rate, paid border crossings, paid pickups and deliveries, paid layovers, hazmat premium and TWIC Card premium. We have a generous health, dental and travel program that begins on first day of employment for Canadian Driver Members and after ninety (90) days for US Driver Members. We provide an extensive Performance Based Pay Program that more than rewards an excellent work ethic; it rewards the people that go above and beyond the standard. At the same time we work hard to ensure all of our driver members are capitalizing on their potential by providing instruction to help them in reaching the high standards we require of all our partners.
LTL Revenue sharing
All Driver Members are entitled to 20% of the revenue for any LTL picks after the initial pick up. Therefore if a load is loaded and the Driver Member can make room on the trailer for more freight they will receive additional 20% of any revenue gained from putting extra freight on the trailer. {slider Driver Member Conferences} All new Driver Members are entitled to a conference with management within 10 days of their first day of work, then again at 30 and 90 days to discuss any concerns or issues that may have arisen during the course of your initial employment.
All Driver Members will also have a formal management meeting every three months as part of the Bonus Program. {slider Facebook}TimeLinehas aFacebook page. We encourage all of our Driver Members and their families to friend us and post anything they are thinking - any ideas for improvement, personal achievements, gripes, recipes, or just anything that might be on their mind. We will routinely post new ideas, minutes from safety meetings, and other related items. {/sliders}
